1 day interactive events on awareness on community mediation were organized in 3 VDCs namely Ibhang, Barbote & Irautar VDCs & Ilam Municipality from 13- 16 Falgun, 2072 under the project "Go to Village for Community Mediation. The aim of the activity was to promote community mediation focusing the dispute resolution in community level. The activity was launched with a slogan "Our problem our solution" to resolve disputes on their own. HURF Executive Director Devendra Biswakarma presented a discussion paper on "Concept of mediation and status of implementation in Nepal". Member of Mediation Council, Dr. Kurmar Sharma Acharya, former Judge Sambhu Bd. Khadka, Ass. Judge of the court of appellate Mohamad Sabir Ansari, & District judge Nawaraj Dahal attended the interaction as guest. VDC level political leaders, VDC secretaries, women, janajaties, WCF, teachers, civil society. More than 80 people participated in the interaction. 
The project was organized by HURF Nepal with support of Mediation Council.
