One day district level interaction program was organized on 23 August, 2016 at HURF hall, Ilam. Officials and representatives of government and non-government organizations, district level political leaders, community leaders, women leaders, activists, journalists, civil societies participated in the interaction program. The interaction program was focused to inform the district level stakeholders about its new project entitled "Collective Campaign for Access to Justice for Women and Dalit" (CCWD).   Executive director of HURF Devendra Biswakarma presented a paper on the project. The project has been launched in six VDCs of Ilam district namely Godak, Sulbung, Ivang, Laxmipur, Gajurmukhi and Sumbek for 2 years. A two way interaction held based on the paper. Biswakarma further highlighted upon the goal, objectives, activities and the expected outcomes of the project and made clarity upon remark made by participants. The participants appreciated the ideas of the project and also provided necessary feedback for the effective implementation. The program was chaired by HURF president Mohan Singh Thebe. The project has been supported by Foundation to Promote Open Society.
