2- days awareness workshop on the fundamental rights, federal structure, participation and rights and duties of local level organized in 10 different places in March and April 2017 in Ilam. After the restructuring of Ilam district Ilam consists 10 local level, i.e., 4 Municipalities and 6 Rural Municipal. The 2 day workshop has been conducted in all local level's centre. Leaders of political parties, civil society, dalit communities and marginalized groups participated the workshop. The aim of the 2 day workshop was to develop common consensus on the provision of constitution and the need of restructuring of the country, and fundamental rights ensured by constitution. Overwhelming participation and demand of the project activity was observed during workshop. The political parties, Executives of municipalities and Rural Municipal and civil society demanded the awareness program in ward level too. "The project activity could address the real and crucial need of the communities as it is quite before the local election and nobody was clear about the detail provision of the participation and rights. So the project activity should be organized in ward and community level "Said a participant after the workshop.
