A joint planning meeting between GIZ-ZFD and HURF was organized at HURF office 13-15 November, 2017 to carry out joint plan to work on the peace focusing the several non violent conflict resolution tools such as mediation, dialogue, forum theatre. The plan mainly focused to strengthen the capacities of HURF and local peace structures, mediators and mobilization. The cooperation focused to address the problem of the poor and marginalized communities providing mediation services which is accepted as secure, effective, reliable and efficient in communities. Core teams of ZFD including ZFD Coordinator Verina Hinze along PM&E advisor and Peace Advisor took part. Likewise, HURF Vice President BB Khadka, Executive director, Board Members, PM&E Officer and mediators participated from HURF part. The Cooperation with GIZ –ZFD & HURF has been continued since 2008 and working in the field of peace.
