HURF Nepal and INSEC Ilam jointly conducted Half Yearly Review meeting on the situation of District Ilam on 23 September, 2012 in Ilam. The meeting released a report. According to the report, 35 cases of Human Rights violation, and 37 days bandh (strike) are recorded until September, 2012. The meeting was chaired by Mohan Singh Thebe, President of HURF Nepal on which Mr. Ashok Bantawa, District representative of INSEC presented the report. District level political leaders, district police, journalists, representatives of line agencies, medias and civil society took part in the interaction.
