HURF Nepal has organized an interaction program in Mai Jogmai Rural Municipality with the Executive Board of the Local Government of the municipality on 24 November, 2017. The interaction was focused to inform the newly elected government about the HURF campaign on child rights, its existing project Effort against Child Rights Violation and for Peace Education III. The interaction was facilitated by the project coordinator Rudra Thebe and chaired by the president of Maijogmai Municipality, Jit Bahadur Rai. The details of the project activities and possible areas of coordination were discussed in plenary discussion. President Mr. Rai expressed that the municipality was confused to trace a way to implement the municipality budget which was allocated in last session, so municipality expected technical support to develop a plan and implement its local resources in effective way. The program was organized under the project Effort against Child Rights Violation and for Peace Education in support of Kindermissionswerk, Germany.
