The German Ambassador Mr. Roland Shafer along with GIZ country director Mrs. Elke Foerster visited HURF on 19th February 2018. The team was welcomed by the HURF members before the beginning of the formal meeting. In the meeting short presentation of HURF's overall activities and achievements till date was presented by the Executive Director Devendra Biswakarma. Mr Roland Shafer appreciated the work of HURF in the sector of Human rights and peace development. Further, he placed his queries on mediation process and its effectiveness in settling the disputes in the community level. In the meeting issues of the post conflict period and the reasons behind the discontent of many human right workers in the field of Human rights despite the state's confirmation of remarkable achievements after peace building process were also discussed. The chairperson of HURF Mohan Singh Thebe concluded the meeting with short speech of gratitude for the visit of team in HURF.
