HURF Nepal recently organized 8-day's basic mediation training in Biratnagar to develop mediators targeting the district and High courts in Ilam, Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Dhankuta, Udaypur & Okhaldhunga. 27 mediators are developed focusing the districts. The training was organized by HURF with support of Mediation Council.
HURF Nepal with support of Myanglung Municipality organized similar basic training in Terhathum district. 27 mediators were developed through the training to support the mediation function of the judicial committee of the municipality.
HURF Nepal has been providing trainings and mediation in eastern Nepal since 2001.
