HURF has completed its twenty years journey, on this occasion of 20th anniversary and 8th General Assembly HURF has conducted various activities. The program was chaired by the president of Human Rights Forum Nepal Mr. Mohan Singh Thebe. The formal opening of the program was done by honorable Ram Rana member of Provincial Assembly of Province 1 and chief guest of the program and honorable Khinu Lieunga and Kagiman Kagate, special guests of the program. The celebration of the completion of twenty years journey was done by honoring and appreciating all who have directly and indirectly contributed HURF.  The organization like INSEC, CIVICT and GIZ/ZFD were provided with the letter of honor for the continuous coordination and support in HURF's thematic issues and in the organizational development. Likewise, the letter of honor was provided to total fifteen active members, general members and the staffs of the organization who have contributed for the organizational development since its inception. The letter of appreciation was provided to 135 clild clubs.
The eighth general assembly of the organization formed a unanimous working committee of seven members. In the committee Mr. Mohansingh Thebe was nominated as the chairperson, Mr Bir Bahadur Khadka as Vice Chairperson, Mr. Devendra Biswakarma as Secretary, Mrs Durga Devi Bhattarai as Vice Secretary, Mr. Bhakta Thami as Treasurer Officer, Mrs Sabitra Siwa and Gayatri Regmi as members of the committee.
