Entrepreneurship and Business Planning Training in Mai Municipality
"Youth for Social Change" organized by HURF Nepal Ilam, lunched 5 Entrepreneurship and Business Planning Training in Mai Municipality Ward no. 9 in collaboration with Cottage and Small scale industry to 20 participants and in ward no. 2, 4 and 5 for 13 participants from 9th May to 15th May and in Mai Municipality Ward No. 1 from 22th May to 28th May for 13 participants in their respective ward for 7 days with the coordination of local government. Till the date in 3 Wards of Rong Rural Municipality and 5 wards of Mai Municipality, all together 8 Entrepreneurship and Business planning training completed and 1 in Mai Municipality ward 1 is going to finish by today. There will be Entrepreneurship and Business Planning Training in all remaining wards of Mai Municipality and Rong Rural Municipality.
YEG Forms Network of Municipal level in Mai Municipality
Youth for Social Change organized by HURF Nepal Ilam formed a group Youth Empowerment Groups (YEG) in 10 wards of Mai Municipality and 6 wards of Rong Rural Municipality to aware the people of Ward level to erase Unsafe Migration, Human Trafficking promoting self-entrepreneurship. To make their work effective, they feel the need of group of Municipal level. As a result they form a group of Municipal level on 24th May 2019 on the chairpersonship of the chairperson of Human Rights Forum Nepal Ilam and the chief guest is the chairperson of Mai Municipality Deepak Kumar Thebe. Group is formed with 27 members from YEGs inclusive representative (President and a member of different gender).

HURF forms a MPAC in Mai Municipality
Municipality Project Advisory Committee in Mai Municipality organized by HURF Nepal Ilam from the project Youth for Social Change has successfully organized on the chairpersonship of the Mayor of Mai Municipality Deepak Kumar Thebe with the total participants of 19 persons on 24th May 2019 in Mai Municipality as a one day program. Program got its meaning with the sharing of done activities and upcoming activities in Mai Municipality and by forming the MPAC with 20 members the chairperson of Mai Municipality as a president of MPAC.
