19 mediators were developed with basic mediation training of the trainers organized by HURF. The facilitators were provided facilitation skills, concept of basic mediation, session planning and responding issues as the major concept of the training. They were trained on tools of facilitation as well.
Intensive workshop with mediators
16 mediators were provided intensive training on mediation. The training was focused for the trainners who have been facilitating mediation trainings. Member of Expert group of Mediation Council, Mahendra Prasain facilitated the 3 days workshop. The concept of mediation, national and international practice, scope and status of mediation and possible future direction and role of mediators and mediation service providing organization, and possible issues of different level training curriculum designing were the centered for the discussion.
