District level interaction was organized on the basis of status mapping of HURF, existing status and experiences of judicial committee, their challenges and role of stakeholders and HURF's recommendation on the structural and system support. The interactions were held in Udaypur, Okhaldhunga, Khotang, Solukhumbu, Dhankuta, Bhojpur and Jhapa districts. Majority of the local judicial committees raised the need of training, policy making and development of mediators to establish the services. The interaction program was organized under the project Enabeling Local Judicial System for Community Justice Service Project with support of Open Society Policy Center. The project has already trained the all judicial committee in Panchthar district and majority of them passed the mediation related procedure, developed mediators and started to provide mediation service through mediation centers.  'The interaction will be held in Morang and Sunsari district is the first week of September', Said mr Shikhar Nath Sapkota, the project coordinator.
