A six days resiential training  for the members of Community Mediation Committee of Godak, Mangalbare and Barbote VDCs since November,20 – December 16, 2012. The training was focused on mediation, conflict, advanced communication skills, human rights, and mediation act. Mr. Shikhar Nath Sapkota, Mr. Devendra Biswakarma, Mr. BB Khadka, Mr. Ashok Bantawa, Mr. Yoga Raj Sapkota and Mr. Shekhar Chandra Aryal, Judge of District Court Ilam, facilitated the training.
The CMCs along with VDC and HURF Nepal developed an action plan for the effective implementation of the programme and skills in local level for the respective VDCs.
The participation was inclusive based on gender and ethnicity. The training was conducted in support of SDC under Mediation for Peace and Social Justice Program.
