HURF Nepal and INSEC Ilam jointly conducted Annual Review meeting on the situation of District Ilam on 18 December, 2012 in Ilam. The meeting released a report. According to the report, 42 days Bandha was recorded in 2012, where Social, economic, and cultural violence are recorded. The report shows that child rape cases are increasing, and cases of Domestic violence, and murdered are in increasing trend.  The meeting was chaired by Mr. BB Khadka, Vice President of HURF Nepal on which Mr. Ashok Bantawa, District representative of INSEC presented the report.
 District level political leaders, district police, journalists, representatives of line agencies, medias and civil society took part in the interaction. Mr. Baburam Khatiwada, CDO and Mr. Bhim Bdr. Dahal, DSP, answering the raised questions, expressed their commitment to maintain the better situation of HR Violation.
