A six days resiential training  for the members of Community Mediation Committee of Panchakanya VDC was conducted  for 31st December, 2012 to 5th January, 2013. The training was focused on mediation, conflict, advanced communication skills, human rights, and mediation act. Mr. Shikhar Nath Sapkota, Mr. Devendra Biswakarma, Mr. BB Khadka, Mr. Ashok Bantawa, Mr. Yoga Raj Sapkota and Mr. Shekhar Chandra Aryal, Judge of District Court Ilam, facilitated the training.
The CMC along with VDC and HURF Nepal developed an action plan for the effective implementation of the programme and skills in local level.
The participation was inclusive based on gender and ethnicity. The training was conducted in support of SDC and ZFD/GIZ under Mediation for Peace and Social Justice Program.
