6 months long, Residential Advanced Psychosocial Counseling Training resumed at HURF Hall, on 23 Jan, 2013. 10 participants from 4 districts (Ilam, Jhapa, Panchthar and Taplejung) are taking the training. Mr. Bijaya Acharya and Indira Pradhan, Counselor from TPO Nepal have been facilitating the training.
"This is the first six month long training in the field of psychosocial outside Kathmandu Valley in Nepal", said Mr. Bijaya Acharya addressing the formal opening of the training. The program resumed with lighting candles in participatory way which was chaired by Mr. Mohan Singh Thebe, President of HURF Nepal. The training program is supported by ZFD- GIZ.
