Three day's training on the concept of the positive discrimination provisioned in the constitution, laws and bylaws (26-28 Jan, 2013) in Godak VDC. 23 participants were trained on the concept. Participants were from target groups such as Dalits, women, marginalized, disables, children, excluded, janajaties. Concept, importance and need of positive discrimination, context analysis, human rights, child rights, women rights, ILO 169, provisions of constitutions, VDC budget allocation guideline, role of social activists, triangular planning, rights based approach and federalism are the content of the training. They developed an action plan prioritizing the needs of the target groups for the sake of mainstreaming which will be discussed with VDC level political leaders and budget allocation committee.
Mr. Devendra Biswakarma, Mr. Yoga Raj Sapkota, Mr. Parash Rai and Mr. Mankumar Baraily facilitated the training. The is being conducted in 6 VDCs in Ilam district and 6 VDCs in Panchthar districts in support of Umvertielien  Stiftung.
