Human Rights Forum Nepal (HURF Nepal), in support of DDC Ilam has been conducting a social mobilization program namely "Local Governance and Community Development Program" (LGCDP) in 7 VDCs in district Ilam.

HURF Nepal has been conducting the program as a Local Service Provider since 2011. HURF Nepal has started to run the program in 4 VDCs namely Banjho, Shakhphara, Gajurmukhi and Ibhang VDC in 2011 and in other 3 VDCs namely Sulubung, Santidada and Barbote VDC since 2012.Regarding the Nepalese Fiscal year, HURF Nepal organized a review, and sharing meeting of the LGCDP program on 17 July, 2012 at HURF Nepal. Boards and staffs of HURF Nepal, Social Mobilizers, VDC secretaries of the respective VDCs, Members of District Social Mobilization Committees, and District Co facilitator of Social mobilization from DDC were participated in the meeting.

HURF Nepal has been organizing review and sharing meeting in every four months and it was the second meeting.
