Six days residential training for the members of Community Mediation Committee of Dhuseni VDC was conducted form 17- 22 April, 2013. The training was focused on mediation, conflict, advanced communication skills, human rights, and mediation act. Mr. Shikhar Nath Sapkota, Mr. Yoga Raj Sapkota, Mr. Kul Deep Ghimire, Mr. Devendra Biswakarma, Mr. Shekhar Chandra Aryal; the District Judge, Mr. Parash Rai and Mr. Nawaraj Sankar facilitated the training.
During the closing session, the participants expressed that there is the need of the effective legal provision for the mediation program and the government has to pay proper concern to enhance the knowledge on mediation to lead the country towards peace. They further added that the skill that they had learnt are scientific and support the conflict parties to feel justice.
The CMC of Dhuseni  along with VDC and HURF Nepal developed an action plan for the effective implementation of the programme and skills in local level.
The training was conducted in support of SDC and ZFD- GIZ under Mediation for Peace and Social Justice Program.
