16 Trained Mediators have been developed in Soyang VDC in Ilam District. Members of CMC in Soyang VDC were trained on Conflict, Mediation, and laws with practical skills. A six day residential training was organized from 12- 17 May, 2013 at HURF Hall. The training was focused on mediation, conflict, advanced communication skills, human rights, and mediation act. Mr. Shikhar Nath Sapkota, Mr. Yoga Raj Sapkota, Mr. Shekhar Chandra Aryal, Hon'ble Judge of District Court facilitated the training.
The training was conducted in support of SDC and ZFD- GIZ under Mediation for Peace and Social Justice Program.
