Six days residential training on mediation was conducted for the members of Community Mediation Committees in Pyang and Namsaling VDC from 26- 31, May 2013, and 2- 7 June, 2013 respectively. 39 mediators from 2 CMCs were trained on the mediation, conflict and other various skills. Mr. Shikhar Nath Sapkota, Mr. Yoga Raj sapkota, Mr. Nawaraj Shankar, Mr. BB Khadka, Ms. Gayatri Regmi facilitated the training. Mr. Shekhar Chandra Aryal Hon'ble district Judege and Chief guest, facilitated the both training in the context of legal problems in VDC level, role of mediators and Mediation Act.
A joint plan has been developed to make the CMC's activities more effective in the future.
The training has been conducted in support of SDC and ZFD- GIZ in 30 VDCs in district Ilam.
