Six staffs of children rights program were oriented on child rights, peace education, human rights, conflict, conflict sensitivity, concept of Child friendly school management, in the last week of June, 2013. Mr. Shikhar Nath Sapkota, Mr. Yoga Raj Sapkota, and Ms. Kopila Karki facilitated the orientation. Similarly, Mr. Dil Nath Puri, District Education officer, Mr. Sambhu Magar, official from DEO, Mr. Prabin Dhakal, and Planning Officer from DDC facilitated the training.
4 District Coordinators, program coordinator and finance officer participated in the training. A quarterly plan was developed to run the program. The project Effort against Child Rights Violation and for Peace Education is being conducted i n 25 VDCs in 4 districts in Mechi zone.
