2 days training on Child Rights, Peace Education, Child friendly environment and role of Protection Teacher was organized at HURF Hall in Ilam from 5th – 6th September, 2013. 25 Protection teachers from different 25 schools in Mechi zone actively took part. Mr. Yoga Raj Sapkota, Facilitator for conflict, Peace and Conflict Sensitivity of HURF Nepal, Mr. Dil Nath Puri, the DEO, Mr. Ajit Yonjan, District Child Welfare Officer facilitated the training. Child rights, peace education, conflict sensitivity, prevailing laws and acts, policies and guidelines, etc were the content of the training.
The training was conducted with cooperation of Kinder Missionswerk under the program "Effort against Child Rights Violation and For Peace Education".
