HURF Nepal, with support of SDC organized a national level workshop on Community Mediation, Practice and Significance, with National and International Stakeholders, at Hotel Orchid, on Saturday, 1st March 2014. Participants expressed the need of the replication of HURF's practice throughout the country as HURF's 15 years experience in community mediation seems remarkable in conflict resolution in community level through non violence manner. Officials from different ministries, Supreme Court, NGO federation, Embassies, INGOs, NGOs expressed their commitment to support to foster the HURF's experiences and lesson learnt from their wards. HURF Nepal is one of the NGOs in Nepal, which has been working in the field of mediation and conflict very first in Nepal since 2001.  More than 45 participants took part in the workshop.
