VDC level public hearing program is being organized in 8 VDCs in district Ilam. Pashupatinagar and Shantidada VDCs organized the event to inform about the VDC services, existing and approved plan for this fiscal year. The exit poll report, citizen score card report, which were prepared based on the feedback of the service seekers and communities and report of the VDCs were presented in the program. The VDC secretaries answered upon the raised comments and remarks. HURF organized the events with coordination of Women Rights Groups(WRGs) and VDCs. Ms. Renuka Rai and Mr. Shikhar Nath Sapkota, facilitators from HURF facilitated the event.
The public hearing activities needs at least 15 days of period from the first notice announce date. The citizen report card and exit polls report were filled up with support of the members of WRGs in VDCs. the program were organized with support of GIZ-SUNAG under the Women Rights Program.
