Workshop on identifying issues of Dalit community in Taplejung

A workshop focused on identifying the key issues and challenges faced by the Dalit community successfully conducted in Taplejung today. The event brought together senior leaders and activists dedicated to Dalit rights from across the district to discuss strategic advocacy and social justice. The opening session was presided over by Devendra Biswakarma, Executive Director of Human Rights Forum Nepal.
District Coordination Committee (DCC) Vice Chief Krishana Prasad Linkhim attended as the Chief Guest. The workshop was facilitated by Bhakta Bahadur Thami. The program was organized by Human Rights Forum Nepal with the support of Misereor Germany and in coordination with the District Coordination Committee, Taplejung. The workshop was conducted under the project titled "Solidarity for the ensuring Dignity: A Collective Effort against Caste Based discrimination through Policy awareness at Local Level."
